| Job Description: | The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is responsible recruiting and effectively managing the VARs in their territory to exceed sales and technical competency goals. The CAM will conduct business plans, quarterly business reviews, train VARs, conduct co-marketing events while being responsible for the overall relationship & success of their VARs. CAM will work closely with other Secure Computing employees to train VARs, manage their sales pipeline & support their overall success. The CAM needs to be the expert on their VARs and the escalation point for conflict resolution by their VARs. |
| Job Requirements: |
The successful candidate will have 5+ years in the VAR channel including distribution with a through understanding of two tier sales channel. This person will need to possess superb business management, excellent planning skills with a demonstrated ability to execute. Excellent sales skills – ability to qualify, demonstrate and close business with and through channel partners is required. They must have good presentation skills, excel at conflict resolution, team work and be an effective multi-tasker. The ability to strategically plan and manage your business while tactical executing flawlessly is required.
