Rapid7 is making waves in the security industry and developing Unified Vulnerability Management Software called NeXpose. NeXpose is an expert system that Fortune 500 and reputable institutions (i.e. Carnegie Mellon, Dillards, Revlon, Coach) use to scan web applications, databases, operating systems and all layers of the network. We are looking for a Jr. and Sr. Network Vulnerability Researchers to join Rapid7s expanding Product Development team and create network-based checks to detect vulnerabilities in operating Systems, network services, network applications, web-applications and databases. You will also participate in developing new ideas on exploiting remote systems and recognizing new ways to identify vulnerabilities in custom applications. Requirements: Understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP, FTP) Background in a Unix/Windows environment.
