Compliance and Audit Director Reference No. SF-313 Company Global Outsourcing Group Location UK Flex Salary £65,000 - £80,000 Package Bonus + 19% benefits package + pension assistance Start Date ASAP No. Required 1 The Role Key Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be expected to develop a broad understanding of entire UK OS portfolio of engagements and ensure that the OS executive receive regular and informative updates on those engagements that merit particular focus. The successful applicant will own the internal audit programme and will be responsible for identifying and scheduling audits in addition to leading audits and ensuring appropriate VP level engagement in audit findings and remediation. A key skill will be the ability to quickly diagnose complex delivery, relationship and commercial issues and develop appropriate remediation plans. On occasions there will be a requirement to work directly with clients (at CxO level) and be the senior person responsible for execution of agreed remediation plans. The successful individual will be expected to be able to successfully interface with the Group and External Auditors in addition to client’s auditors when required. This is a senior level position and the ideal candidate must be self sufficient, able to prioritise their own work and that of the team in line with the volatile demands of the business. They will also be expected to deputise for the VP responsible for Audit and Compliance. The team is dynamic and driven by business needs and so a high degree of flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities is vital. Person Specification: • Understanding of standards and control frameworks (COBIT, SAS70, COSO etc). • Solid experience of standards, tools and processes (Finance, Smarter Selling, Codec, M review, delivery rule books etc). • Willingness to develop audit as a core competence. Personal Qualities: • Likely to be an experienced senior manager/director looking to expand their expertise. • Outstanding communication and influencing skills, firm yet pragmatic when needed. • Proven ability to work effectively at OS Executive level. • Very Broad OS Experience. • Excellent diagnosis and problem solving skills are mandatory plus ability to make connections across engagements, e.g. common root causes for apparently disparate issues. |
