The Elron Firewall of the now defunct Elron Software , formerly ONGuard Firewall of the now defunct ON Technology was introduced in 1996/1997. It was a Stateful Multi-Layer Inspector (SMLI), bridging firewall that operated upon a system running Windows NT4/2000 or upon a system using its own proprietary Secure32OS.
