That's the problem. Yes, she was a total jerk. She was completely out of line. IMO - she's a horrible persona and hardly worth the skin that she wears... But what she did doesn't deem charges to be brought against her. Unless her intent was to kill this child, she did nothing wrong.
What in the heck is going on where we all have to be all PC and "nice". You poke fun and now you're a criminal? This is ridiculous. Mark my words, this is a slippery slope that NONE of us that are in the US want to be standing on. Because this one WILL slide and we're all going to be crushed by it.
The charge is more out of line than the woman was poking fun at a child that was half her age...
Yes, the woman is a horrible person. But let her live with that. Why punish her for the weakness of another and the fact that the weak person didn't have a family structure that was strong enough to support their kid.
I don't know about you, but I've been to a point where I have been suicidal. And I can tell you that people came out of the woodwork that were concerned for me. I didn't even know they knew who I was.
So now...WHAT ABOUT HER FREAKING PARENTS???
