Maybe it's worth considering.

Hello Everybody,
I completely agree with Barrett's statement.
1. I don't know if there is any website or service that sends alert but
you can check this URL, a very good phishing monitoring site:

This is a real problem for us in my job. The quick answer is
1. No
And
2. Yes, if you feel it's necessary.
But realize that most Phishing attempts are sent to a site that is in no
way related to your domain but is just an IP address. My opinion is
that you would be better served using that money to educate your
customers on the dangers of online fraud.
Cheers,
Will Barrett

Subject: Monitoring Domain Registration
Hi,
I have two questions on domain name registrations
1. Is there a free online service where I can get alerted if somebody
registers a top level domain similar to my bank's URL ?
2. How do you tackle this problem of spoofed domain name registrations.
Should you go ahead and buy all domains which are similar sounding as
your banks just to prevent a phisher from buying it ?
